Is It Possible To Have Spotting After Conception?

I have been on the pill for years except when I was trying to conceive, I remember what it felt to ovulate during that time and I have felt it recently even though being on the pill. Is it possible to conceive while in the pill. Is it possible to have spotting after conception and when would be the best time to test if conception did occur?

Dear madam,I understand your concern.Normally pill is the most effective contraceptive.but still failure may occur rarely.you can test for pregnancy by
Urine pregnancy test after missing the period.it will be positive by one week after the missed period mostly.Ultrasound can be done for confirmation after a month.spotting can be seen after conception in cases of implantation bleeding(this is normal) and in cases of abortion,ectopic pregnancy.in abortion and ectopic pregnancy associated usually with pain abdomen.
