Is It Possible To Have Sex With An Imperforate Anus?

I am a 20 year old female. I was born with an imperforate anus. Is it possible for me to have sex? My boyfriend and I tried but his penis wouldn't fit? That could be because he was nervous and couldn't stay hard though....but my question is, is sex possible for me?

First of all let my clarify that imperforate anus and imperforate hymen are two different things. Hymen is the covering over vagina. Even if you have had imperforate hymen I am sure you were operated for the same. Once operated imperforate hymen causes no problem with having sex.

Are you getting your periods regularly with normal flow. You can have sex and there should be no problem with it. The inability to have intercourse could be because of nervousness. Try again. If still you face problems both should see the doctor for counselling and explanation
