Is It Possible To Have Popped The Cartilage Due To Coughing ?

Have had muscle pain in left side due to coughing bronchitis was at work this am coughed felt pop in left side very painful can inflte lungs fully although pain full hardly can get up without pain is it possible I could have popped the cartilage what do I do to fix besides rest YYYY@YYYY

I really appreciate your concern, if it is sever cough or if you cough forcefully apply extra force while coughing then this may cause pain in chest area and this is muscular pain and not the cartilage damage, to get rid of this pain take care while coughing and try to find out the underlying cause of cough, take care and have a nice day.
