Is It Possible To Have A Heart Murmur Of A 2 Years Old Baby?
My friend's two day old baby has been diagnosed with a heart murmur? They did an ECG which came back normal and blood pressure was equal on the baby s arms and legs. She has to take the baby for a check up in four weeks. He seems to be feeding well. Does anyone know what the likely outcome of his condition will be?

I had a heart murmur when i was born too. It never really bothered me but had to see a specialist twice a year up until the age of 9 when i got the all clear. the doctor did tell me that those with heart murmurs would probably have some breathing defects and that i would more than likely develop asthma when i was older-which i did.Other than that everything is fine
