PLease consult your gynaecologist again. THat will serve two purposes - first, it will be ascertained if the cyst has decreased in size. If it hasnt or it has become complex in nature, removal by laparoscopic route is mandated. Next the reason for the delayed cycles can be evaluated. STress, weight gain, late nights, heavy drinking or smoking, fever, travelling - all these can cause menstrual delays. TSH levels should be checked to rule out hypothyroidism.
