Is It Possible To Be Pregnant, Miscarry And Get Pregnant Again Within Month?

Hi the 1st day of my last period was 17.07.14, I got a positive pg test 17.08.14. I went for an ultrasound on 03.10.14 and this showed a yolk sac and fetal pole measuring just under 6 weeks, no heartbeat was detected. I should have been around 10 weeks when I got my scan. I have to be rescanned in 2 weeks. My dr advised I may have got pregnant and miscarried and got pregnant again or they think I have my dates wrong. I know my dates are correct, please can you give me some advice. Thanks

You had a positive pregnancy test on 17-8-14. So on 17-8-14 you were four weeks pregnant.
As you have rightly said on 3-10-14 you were 10 weeks pregnant. Your dates are correct.
As the ultrasound on 3rd October did not show fetal heart beat it means that unfortunately it is a miscarriage.
