if not take advice
all strenuous exercises should be stopped
till you take guidance avoid weight bearing exercises fast walking will be the best for the time being with proper shoes
You can continue your gym exercise but make sure that you donot over-exert your back muscle. Do all your exercise wth light weight & consult immediately, when you feel that despite all precaution,the pain is increasing
