Is It Okay To Take Phentamine With Heart Issues?
Hi- I have not been to a doctor in years. I went today and the doctor prescribed me phentamine for weight loss as I am about 60-70 lbs over weight. I told the doctor that I have had 2 surgeries for AVRT. When I got home and startled reading the warnings it said not to take with heart issues. Is it ok to take this?

Phentermine is contraindicated in patients with history of arrhythmia. But a surgical correction for atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia (AVRT) may not be a contraindication.
