Ativan is a valium derivative that is used for relieving anxiety and tension.
It also induce sleepiness.
Low doses are usually well tolerated and will relax you and allow usual function. Higher doses will put you to sleep.
So you just go through as per the advice of your doctor and have faith in medicine.
Your procedure will be smooth. so don't be afraid. All the best & take care.
