Pediatrician 's  Response
It can be normal, but please get her stool examined to check if she is passing stercobilin or not. This is a by-product of bile that is secreted by the liver into the gut. Presence of stercobilin in stool means that she is fine and there is no blockage in her bile system.

I said this because pale stools and presence of jaundice in a small baby (which is not the case with her) can mean a serious blockage or underdevelopment of her bile system.

See her pediatrician urgently if the stool test is reported as having no stercobilin.
