Is It Normal To Have Periods After Uterine Ablation Procedure?

I had a uterine ablation six months ago and was expecting to be free of periods forever. I started bleeding today. Is this normal, and if so, why wasn t I informed that my periods may not completely stop. My doctor presented that I wouldn t have them at all, but from what I am reading, that may not be the case. Thank you, Malissa
