Is It Normal To Have Pain In Palm Post Steam Burn On Hands?

I received a steam burn on my left and right hand about a month ago. I went straight to A&E and had a burn cream and bandage applied. The side by my thumb on my left hand seemed to be effected but now I feel pain on the other side of my palm. It is now about a month since my burn, is this normal?

Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having some infection on burn site.
Go for one oral antibiotic medicine course for 5-7 days.
Clean the affected part with antiseptic lotion and apply antibiotic cream.
Keep the part open.
Ok and take care.
