Is It Normal To Have Mild Bleeding And Passing Clots Within A Week Of D&C/hysteroscopy/polypectomy?

I am a 39 y.o. female who had a D&C/hysteroscopy/polypectomy on Thursday of last week (4 days ago). I have been experiencing mild, bright red bleeding since surgery. This bleeding waxes and wanes in nature, increasing with mild exercise. At most I have been changing my pad every 2 hours. Today I woke up and passed x2 small orange-sized clots. Since then I have been passing small plum-sized clots. I am not experiencing any cramping, but am concerned about the bleeding. Is this normal?

Hi,
Generally after a complete procedure you should not pass clots. I will advise you to get a sonography of pelvis to check if your procedure was complete. Follow up with us with the reports.
