Is It Normal To Have Hard Swelling, Itching, Redness After Bee Sting?

I was stung by a bee 7 weeks ago. Typical reaction of swelling itching and redness. Developed a hardened area the size of a silver dollar but went away after a week or so. This area has now redeveloped the hardness swelling itching and heat. Please advise if this is normal

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that this might be due to allergic reaction caused by bee.
Take Cetrizine or Benadryl medicine for 2-3 days.
Apply calamine lotion on the part.
Ok and take care.
