Is It Normal To Have Hallucination After Taking Generic Ambien?
My husband took generic Ambien for the first time about 30 hours ago, had terrible halucinations, and is still groggy, and weak. How long does it take this medication to get out of his body? Also need to know if this affects kidneys, as he has low kidney function.

mild hallucinations can occur with zolpidem,though such terrible one are rare.
it has a short half life,and is usually eliminated with in 8-10 hours from our body(unless you have liver dysfunction).usually,the clinical effects lasts for less than 10hour.
it is mainly metabolized by liver,and hence usually will not affect kidney.
