Is It Normal To Have Dizziness And Blurred Vision After Getting Hit Below Knee?
Hello... I was just playing catch with a softball and got hit below the knee but kinda towards the inner side also with the ball. Sat down because of the pain, and when I stood up I got really dizzy and my vision got really blurry and I started to see spots and my hearing got really muffled and I felt like I couldn t stand, so I sat back down... What was this? And am I okay?
Injury knee affecting vision and hearing is not possible .In view of complain, complete eye examination bedone. vision refraction fundus examination should be done. Ear examination external and mid ear by auroscope bedone. Any problem detec ted betreated accordingly. If no problem injury below knee be treated with analgesic.
Hello It seems from the history that you had an episode of dizziness blurred vision and muffled hearing after standing up following suffering a blow below knee. This is because of transient ischemic attack because of hypotension. One attack does not require evaluation however repeated attacks require evaluation to rule out other causes like atherosclerosis of carotid arteries and other vascular causes.
Thank you
