Is It Normal To Have Bilirubin 2.3mg/dl?

I don t drink or smoke. Don t eat much of meat either. I had been taking medication for cholesterol ( Rosucheck D 5 )/ My liver Function test shows: Bilirubin Total: 2.3 mg/dlBilirubin Indirect: 1.6 mg/dl SGPT: 85 units/ml A GP told me I have jaundice. Please clarify

hi, your bilirubine level is definitely high. and you have indirect bilirubinemia. you have jaundice. indirect high may be seen in hemolysis. your SGPT is slighlty high. so you need to consult the doctor and search for the cause of jaundice and then take treatment accordingly.
