Is It Normal To Feel Tight After Tetanus Injection?
I was bitten by a dog last night, in my calf and it drew lots of blood. I went straight to the hospital and was given a tetanus injection and antibotics. The bite itself feels ok but my upper thigh, where i had my tetanus injection, feels very tight. Is this normal? and how long will this last for?

Hi..it is usual to have tightness after tetanus shot. Do not worry. But my concern is that you have not mentioned anything about your anti-rabies vaccination and I suggest you start the anti-rabies vaccination schedule immediately after consulting your physician.

yes it is normal to have induration after tetanus vaccination , it usually last for 48 hours.You can take paracetamol for pain & fever .
