Is It Normal To Bleed Less At Age Of 23 Years ?

is LESS bleeding during menstruation normal at age of 23?? from past few months i am feeling that bleeding has reduceed but not the pain..it lasts hardly for 2 and half or 3 days.i know Hb level does matter but it is 10.5 and my wgt is 54kg,hgt is 5.4 there is history of thalesaemia (my younger brother) apart from that no problem. n plz tell me what tests do i need to do to check thalasaemia in me before marriage.. thank you pl reply.

Hello,
Less bleeding during periods are caused due to hormonal imbalance.You need to get your thyroid,prolactin levels checked.Also get an pelvic ultrasound.Your HB is bit low,but it wont cause you much harm.Just increase iron in your diet.You can get checked for thallesemia at any lab.Just ask your doctor to write a note.
