Is It Normal To Bleed During Sex?

Hi This is hazel. i had sex with my boyfriend after a long time of no sex, maybe for 3 years. today, we had our first sex. then during sex, i bleeded. i am worried. his penis is big and i think we forced it to much. what should i do? what do you think happen to me?

Such things can happen especially after a long gap, this causes the expansion and contraction of the vaginal muscles that can result in micro-trauma and bleeding. Another factor that can contribute to the same can be lack of lubrication.

If at all the bleeding was mild in your opinion, then there is no need to worry. But if at all the bleeding was more than what could result from micro-trauma then I would recommend a visit to your doctor. But in my opinion there is nothing to worry about.
