Is It Normal For My 1 Year Old Baby With Congenital Heart Disease To Have A Hemoglobin Of 114 ?

Hi my baby boy has congenital heart disease and his hemoglobin is only 114. is il a normal level? And he doesn t have any teeth yet. He s 1 yr & 7 mos now.

Hb of 11.4 is less for 1 yr old it should be >12.5. in cases of congenital heart diseases there is associated deficiencies of other vitamins and minerals like calcium dont worry get him regularly with your pediatric cardiologist. we should treat all the deficiencies or else he will go in to failure to thrive in turn may get repeated infections.
