Is It Necessary To Increase A Low Heart Rate After ER ?

My seven year old son s heart rate dropped to 44 while in the ER. Nothing was done to raise it. They would open the door to make sure someone was in there and close it. I know this is not right. What should be done for my son?

Hi Angie Grunewald
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
We are sorry about your son`s situation.
It is important to know why his heart rate has dropped .As you are in ER , I hope specific treatment must be going on .If not you can request the Incharge Doctor to do so.
If you can elaborate your son`s history , sequence of events , we can help you know what is wrong with him.
You can provide these details as comment to this reply or feel free to mail me.

Take care
