Is It Natural For Skin Layer To Crack After Removing Stitches On Finger?
30 y/o, f, 5 5 , 90kilos. I had stitches removed from the pinky finger of my dominant hand 5 days ago. The topmost layer of skin has cracked open to reveal to tissue underneath. It s not painful, red or swollen. Is this a normal part of the healing process as the skin regenerates or should I be concerned. I m worried bc I have a diving trip in 2 days time and thought I would be healed enough to be in the water.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such changes in healing process is common and this is nothing to worry because this is part of healing process some time this may have some clinical symptoms, hope this information helps, take care.
