Is It Fine To Take Loratadine Along With Antibiotic?

My 16 month old son had a cold a couple of weeks ago, with a runny nose and a cough. The doctor prescribed loratadine once a day for him and it seemed to help. Then last friday he had a suspicious bump on his lower stomach so we took him as a precaution and they said it was staph and prescribed Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim for 10 days. He woke up yesterday with his cough and runny nose back again, and we still have the loratadine left, so my question was: Is it ok to give him loratadine while he's taking the antibiotic?
