Is It Fine To Take Emergen-c, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 For Cough?
My 9 yr old child had a very bad cough that would not go away for over 4 weeks and I gave her a 1/2 a pack of Emergen-C , 1 vitamin D and 1 vitamin B12 with plenty of water daily for 2 days and her cough had went away. Is there any way that this combination could have overdosed her? Her weight is approx. 55 pounds.
Understanding your concern. As per your query child is having cough which seems to be due to lung infection. No overdosing is there and combination is ok to use. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit pulmonologist once and get yourself examined. You should go for pulmonary function tests to find out exact extent of infection. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Take proper courrse of antibiotics along with bronchiodilators. Avoid oily, sharp and spicy food and take diet rich in multivitamins. Drink plenty of fluids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
