Is It Fine To Get Cough After Rhinoplasty?

Hi- I had a rhinoplasty done 3 months ago and recently got a cold and now I am have thick mucous secrets and a moist cough-- is this a symptom of something wrong with my nose or just a cold? I took a course of Azithromyacin, but still have the cough and quite a bit of mucous.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As per your clinical history it appears that you are having rhino-sinusitis .

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily, Saline nasal spray , Plenty of fluids &
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination .

I would also advice investigation like Diagnostic nasal endoscopy to know extend of disease .

Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
