Is It Customary To Have Ulcers Associated With These Arteries/veins With TA ?

I have what appears to be a pimple on the top of my head that keeps coming back - I recently saw a rheumatologist who thinks I have temporal arteritis and wants to do a biopsy of a cerebral vein. Is it customary to have ulcers associated with these arteries/veins with TA ?

Good day
Ulcers are not commonly seen unless there is skin damage. Temporal arteritis presents with one sided headache and possible vision disturbance. It is not known to cause ulcers.
