Dear Bleeding during Defecation is not normal,it may be due to following causes
Anal Fissure,Colon Polyps,Hemorrhoids,Peptic Ulcer etc.
You should go to Physician and rule out the cause.

It is definitely not normal to pass blood in stools.we need to find the cause.Since how long is this happening ?how much is the quantity of blood passed?IS it before passing stools,after or with stools?Does it pain when you pass stools?
