Eyes are one of the organs which work from the moment we wake up till we go to bed.
Doctors prescribe glasses so that the person with refractive error, can achieve a visual acuity(The ability to distinguish the fine detail) like a Normal person ,without any refractive error.

You have been prescribed a glass, which has both a distant correction and near(presbyopic glasses). Wearing them will reduce the strain ,which you have for near work and a good quality vision for distance.
Relaxing for sometime, from glasses ,is not going to do any harm.

There are a few exceptions though as in
-children(who otherwise will try to give excuses and strain themselves).
-adults,(where without glasses their visual acuity is really poor that they cannot manage even indoors).
-visually impaired,(as wearing the glasses constantly will give them the maximum residual utilizable vision,to manage indoor and outdoor).

Overall,we advice to wear the glasses constantly so you are comfortable all day through.
So,falling under the presbyopic zone,it is you and your comfortable zone to decide about constant or intermittent wear.
Enjoy your complete vision with glasses. Hope I have answered your question:).
