Is It Advisable To Have A Sauna And Spa After Having Surgery?

Hi my name is Judy and I live in Budapest Hungary. Last year I had a mitral heart valve operation and I am taking warfarin tablets each day. I just wanted to find out is it advisable if I go and have a sauna and spa? I had my 60th birthday yesterday and this was a gift I received from my friends. Thank you in advance.

Cardiac Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
You can do everything, but the point is to avoid injury because your blood has prolonged clotting time. If your heart function is normal you can go for the sauna. Knowing these you can decide by yourself.
Best regards,
Ermal
