Is It Advisable To Donate Blood Without Checking For HIV?

few days back my one of the friend just had sex with a girl without any precaution, after that he is very mood off that he thinks that he is carrying hiv virus, he is going to donate his blood every three months, his next blood donate date is next Saturday, it means there will be only 10 days gap between sex happend and blood donating date

if he donate blood in this time, may it transmit to receiver’s blood !

is there (while receiving blood) any test for know that he has HIV + or not in this time limit ?

Please note : he has no fever, just after two days he has cough and cold

Greetings.
Yes, there are test to detect HIV.
But at first, you can do Blood Donation. In the blood bank they'll screen each & every blood donated for every possible disease transmitted through blood & then only give it to any receiver. So It is not necessary for you to take up the HIV TEST separately. Even if they detect it in your blood while screening they keep the information secret & inform you personally.

Also if necessary you can take up the test anytime & there is no time limit as you think.

So my opinion is that "GO AHEAD WITH BLOOD DONATION" & SAVE LIVES. Also i advise you to take necessary precautions in future , before doing such act in order to avoid such Mental stress etc.,

Note:
Finally it's just a guidance. Not a definitive treatment as i haven't seen you personally. We don't know what your exact condition is unless we see you personally. Consult your Doctor if you still feel uncomfortable in spite of knowing above possibility.

Hope i guided you right & it helped.
