Is It Advisable To Administer Mag Drops And Antibiotics During Pregnancy For UTI?
I was just discharged from The hospital for having contractions at 28 weeks pregnant they gave me the mag drop and antibiotics because I had a little bit of a UTI. I am now home and the opening of my vagina is extremely swollen and I have had a few contractions. Do I need to go back to the ER?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. It would be good to see gynecologist just as precatuions. ALthough, i dont think these signs are indicating something serious. So you should continue with medications but see gyn in meantime. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
