Is It A Matter Of Concern To Have Constipation After Novasure Surgery?
I had nova sure surgery on January 15 now I have stomach pain 3 days later and know I feel constipation so I been taking stool softener and milk magnesia and I had my son touch my stomach and he said it is hard is it something to werry about or should I call my doctor because I don't go back to the doctor until Feb 4 to see how im doing please let me know what should I do thanks
Hello, It is common after any pelvic procedure to have some difficulty in sphincter function of the bladder and the bowel; also owing to the procedure, some amount of constipation can be expected. If you do not have any pain over the abdomen or any discomfort, you may wait until you see your doctor; your son may not have been able to observe things clearly. Sometimes, hard stool can also be felt through a thin abdominal wall. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
