Is It A Matter Of Concern If White Stuff Is Found In Stool At The End Of Pregnancy?
I am a 31 year old female. I am also pregnant with 2nd child. I am at the end of my pregnancy. I will be induced Thursday 1/16 if Labor doesn t start before then. All of my OB appointments have been normal and all seems healthy. I used the restroom this morning, and noticed something stringy and white in my stool. Is this something I should be worried about? I have never experienced this before. I don t have an itchy anus, and I don t feel sick. I am a little worried as I will be having our 2nd child anyday.

As lo ng as no other symptoms are present, I do not see a cause for immediate concern. Try consuming more fluids and if the stringy matter recurs for the next 2-3 days, report to youe doctor for a stool analysis.
