only the boy knows the what is causing it. I suggest him analyzing his own dreams, since dreams occur in order for the
mind to solve problems in life while we
sleep. Once he targets a problem(s). He can work on possible solutions or seek advice more taylored to the specific problem. Also it's kinda out there but
meditation is a great way to extract answers that are allready in our heads (actually our subconciouses). I strongly recomend AGAINST
medication, as druging a problem never actually fixes it.
