Is Intercourse During Pregnancy Risky?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and my husband an I had intercourse kinda ruff n after I realized blood was on the sheets n I'm spotting very lightly now. I am freaking out n don't know if this is safe. I just got out of the hospital for a bad UTI infection n had contractions this was Monday n got out the next day they stopped the contractions. As far as tonight tho should I be worried? Baby is moving a lil' n I have Dr appt in morning but still very scared! HELP!'

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Bleeding in pregnancy needs to be cared of .
Though the cause of bleeding seems to be stress of sex,& it is reduced to just faint spotting now- you should check with your doctor ,get your self examined, USG scanned to confirm baby/your own well being.
-You already have an appointment with doctor tomorrow, so-
- take rest ( Lie down)till you meet your doctor. Go on observing baby's movements-- if you find them normal/ have no pains,no frank bleeding. Don't be panic, the condition seems to be in control. You can wait for the appointment in morning.
BUT, If you find less/ more baby movements, bleeding restarts, pains start along with bleeding--- You have to rush to doctor/ ER for management.
Thanks.
