Is Inhalation Of Disinfectant Spray During Pregnancy A Concern?

My husband has been throwing up and having diarrhea today. I m 32 weeks pregnant and terrified of getting it so I used a crazy amount of Lysol disinfect spray on everything in the bathroom and on the floors. I didn t realize how much I was using until I was done and the areas were soaked in it. I had on latex gloves and a mask but it wasn t a very good one. Could I have harmed myself or my baby? I m kind of freaking out.

Hi.

I am guessing you would not have inhaled enough to cause you or your baby harm, but please do avoid all kinds of inhalant chemicals, smoke, spirits, etc; for the duration of your pregnancy.

Either way, if you experience any symptoms please report to the ER immediately.
