Is Hydroxyzine And Fluticasone Nasal Spray Known To Cure Dry Cough?

Hello, I have problem breathing.I went to emergency room on June 26th and got diagnosed with acute bronchtis. I got atibiotic. I thought I was getting better but I have problem catching breath feels like I dont get enough air and gasping for breath and wheezing so I went to urgent medical center yesterday I got prescibed hydroxyzine, fluticasone nasal spray,augumenin for uti ( after urine sample was tested) need to drink a lot and rest. I cough dry cough sometimes during the day.Urgent care doctor thinks it could be anxiety - my breathing problem. Both my primary care doctor and urgent care doctor say my lungs are clean. I got xray a month ago and yesterday and it is ok per doctors.Should I see lung doctor , could it be asthma? Please help.

Hi.
Yes, you should see a Lung Doctor named a Pulmonologist.
HE would help you by a good clinical examination , Pulmonary Function Tests ( PFT ). And prescribe according to the reports.
Hydroxyzine an Fluticasone nasal sprays act only in the nasal airway and will not much help for a cure of dry cough.
You may need steroids in the form of inhaler and oral tablet forms of Deflazacort in reducing dosage.
You also need to take multivitamons , therapeutic dosage of Vitamin A and D. This helps to increase the immunity and healing of the respiratory mucosa .
Avoid the allergens which increase the problems.
