Is Hydrocholotheride The Right Medication For High Blood Pressure While Having Heart Murmuring?

i was just diagnosed with high blood pressure i m 58 years old, female, i was born with a murmur a tiny hole in the lining of my heart, what is the right medication for me to be on, so far waiting for results of my echo ,my doctor put me on hydrocholotheride 25 mg. should i be on another medication?

There are several classes of drugs and several drugs in each class – differing in modes of action
Often, more than one drug is in need / Some have specific indications /
Thiazide is a good drug too / you can reduce the dose to 12.5 mg – add another drug, if uncontrolled; check potassium level
The treating doctor alone could conclude better, based on the total clinical picture
