During pregnancy, your kidneys may be working more, which is one of the reasons for having small amounts of protein in your urine. This is quite common in pregnancy.

If your urine sample contains high levels of protein, and your blood pressure is raised, it mean that you might developing pre-eclampsia.

Then after you have to go through some blood test to check your blood count, clotting, kidney and liver function. If your blood test shows any major concerns, you might need further monitoring.

Symptoms of pre-eclampsia are:
Blurring of Vision.
Sudden swelling of your hands, feet or face.
Severe headache along with vomiting.
Pain just below your ribs.
Acidity and heartburn.

Take care.
