Is High Cholesterol Causing Heart And Chest Pain?
Hi, i am a 38 years old, indian working in Seoul South Korea,
I have exprience pain in my back side right behind my heart, some time i feel i have vain pain in my chest above my heart,
2 years ago i did the Yoga my postion was wrong
when i was performing Yoga inheal and exceal (Breath out and breath in throung my Nose) my neck was down i feel like pain in my backside, i when i finished my yoga pain was constently increase i went to Doctor , he done the ECG ,
ECG was perfect , Dr. Advise me your heart is fine this is musculler pain.
now i am suffering with same problem, I am 4 kg over weight and my chlostral level also high
Please advise how to comeout with this problem.

Your pain is muscular / doesn’t appear to be related to heart pain – pain from the heart is oppressing, in central chest (and left), worse on effort, relieved by rest, may radiate to shoulders and arms, associated with sweating and so on
Cholesterol does not directly cause chest pain. There are subdivisions of cholesterol – LDL, HDL, non-HDL and so on. LDL is bad cholesterol – lower, the better / 100 (in ischemia, 70) is the aim. Need Life style changes - weight to normal / No tobacco or alcohol / Diet and exercise
Repeat the test in 6 weeks… if still high, you need drugs (manufactured in the liver, determined by heredity.) Statin is the first choice.
