Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 63 year old male in excellent condition....work out hard daily for 2 hours on cardiovascular machine that monitors heart rate.......I do 2 hours straight, 6 miles per hour...at medium resistance....heart rate is reaching as high as 150.....Is this okay?
I think at this age you are exercising too heavily. A treadmill exercise for 30 - 45 mins daily should be sufficient for you, if you are not a professional sportsperson.
