Is Heart Monitor Required Immediately In Case Of Heart Palpitations?
i have been having heart palpitations since this past Monday, I just went and had a ekg done and they did see a palpitations while on the ekg. they want me to come back on Wednesday for a heart monitor. is this ok to wait till wed. I have these palpitations about every other beat.

I really appreciate your concern, as matter of fact palpitation need to be investigated and the best way is EKG if found some kind of arrhythmia then this may need monitoring but in most the case of palpitation cardiac disease are absents, it may be nonspecific but it need to investigated, in severe form of cardiac disease which cause the palpitation requires the monitoring, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
