ive been having headaces for over a week, and now my eyes feel a bit sore and appear to be slightly glazed. i had a fall four weeks ago and banged my head had six stiches put in. been to doctors and been refered for a head scan next tuesday. should i try to be seen sooner?
Ct scan of brain is very important following head injury. If any symptoms- persistent severe headache, visual disturbances, seizures or fits, excessive sleepiness or altered behavior, complicated mechanism of injury, bleeding from ear, nose, or throat. Ct is must. So plz get it done and consult a neurosurgeon.
HELLO N WELLCOME. TRAUMATIC HEAD INJURIES E.G FALL OR ACCOMPANIED BY SEQUALAE ESP LOSS OF CONSCIOUSSNESS , VOMITTING OR SEIZURES, MUST HAVE A CT SCAN DONE SOON. I WOULD RECOMMEND AN EARLIER CT DONE FOR U, AS THEIR IS NO POINT IN DELAYING IT, ESP IF THE MAIN CONCERN IS EXTRADURAL HEMATOMA. LINEAR FRACTURES DONT REQUIRE MUCH HASTLE N NEEDS ONLY FOLLOW UP AS THEY HEAL UP WELL. THANX
