Is Having Short Metacarpals Genetic?

Iam 63 yr old female with short 4th & 5tj metacarpals on right hand and 5th on left. Oldest daughter has 5th short ones on both hands. wondering if 6 yr old grandaughter may get it. Looks like they stopped growing at @ age 8. All else is normal and we are of above average intelligence

You have short metacarpal.This might be genetic.
Diet rich in calcium and vitamin D is to be taken by you and your daughter.
According to history there seems not to be any serious syndrome or disease.
Intelligence and other bones are normal.so seems no specific congenital syndrome.
