Is Having Blemish Of Pebble Size Normal After Breast Cancer Surgery?

Hi, I have Mammograms about every 6 months, since going through breast cancer and radiation. Recently had a checkup. There appeared to be a blemish on my breast, the nurse wasn t alarmed. Now it s like a small pebble, (near the surgery place), should I be alarmed?

Such blemish at surgical site are not uncommon and in most of the cases does not need any further treatment . Surgical site takes a months after surgery to get completely healed and such findings are common in superficial layers of skin . If you notice that there is any change in size or something unusual then you should inform your Doctor about it .

I wish you good health.
This is my initial response and feel free to contact if you need any further clarification .
