Is Hands And Fingers Tingling A Symptom Of Diabetic Neuropathy?

I am suffering from diabetes 2 and have questions concerning my hands. I have constant pain and flashing pain in my hands and fingers are tingling at times like just waking up from being asleep like when your legs go to sleep occasionally. Is this diabetic neurophy or possibly carpal tunnel syndrome?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with pain and numbness of your fingers and hand following a history of diabetes type 2 I am suggesting that you have developed diabetic neuropathy

In view of this please see a neurologist specialist as well as endocrinologist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

Indeed there is the latest sofisticated treatment for type 2 diabetes now available it is called microRNA treatment using a hybrid technology please check MEDSCAPE for more details

I hope this helps Regards
