Is Food Regurgitation And Acidity Normal After Undergoing Upper Endoscopy?

i just had a upper endoscopy exam yesterday,a fibrous ring was found and disrupted,i tried eating something several hrs after the proceedure and maybe an later i regurditated some of my food with a sour taste and some acidity,this morning i spit up some brownish mucus acid. is this normal after the proceedure and how long should i accept for a full recover?

Your query is highly appreciated, acid regurgitation is not the normal symptoms neither it is due to the procedure you had gone but it seems to be due to acid reflux disease.
If I would be doctor of this case, then I would try to treat this case with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 20 mg once in day and it has to be taken at evening time for at least 6 weeks, it is advisable to avoid, heavy spicy meal, greasy food, alcohol, smoking. With PPI treatment recovery is sure if it is not anything else than the GERD.
