Is Fasting Glucose Level Being 131 A Cause For Concern?

hi sir, im rey.. i have a recent fasting glucose test early this morning at around 6:30am at 131, last month its 86, and on previous months its just around the ideal level for non diabetics. my last night s meal at around 8:30pm was pouch of spaghetti and other pasta delicacy after that i took a commercial mouthwash something like this (http://www.unilab.com.ph/consumers/products/swish-mouthwash-arctic-chill-liquid/) at around 11:00 - 11:30 am..do I need to worry on this glucose level of 131? and also i have a habit of not eating at night, does that make glucose fasting tests inaccurate if i don t anything the night before that?

Hi there.

Kindly also perform 2 hour post meal Blood glucose level to confirm Diabetes. If Fasting blood sugar is more than or equal to 126 mg/dL and Post-meal 2 hour Blood glucose is more than 140 mg/dL, then you have Diabetes.

Not eating food at night will decrease the blood sugar level when you check in the morning.
