Is Facial Paralysis With Brain Lesions Suggestive Of Multiple Sclerosis?

Hi. My 17 year old son was diagnosed with MS. He woke up one morning with Bells Palsy like facial paralysis....and his eye was not abducting properly with nystagmus on each side. An MRI showed lesions on his brain and the lumbar puncture revealed 2 oglioclonal bands. He is now back to his normal self and has no other symptoms. I am hesitant to put him on any DMD at this point because we are not 100% convinced it is really MS. Any thoughts?
